The "G. Carrer" airfield, now "Luciano Narder"
The "Luciano Narder" airfield is a little piece of paradise for flying enthusiasts located between the provinces of Treviso and Venice, nestled in the countryside.
It offers a 665-meter grass runway, perfect for ultralights. The cozy clubhouse is the gathering place for pilots and enthusiasts, while the flight school trains new pilots. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, ideal for those seeking a flying experience to remember.

Origins
The idea
It was a morning in February 1984 when a trade magazine reported on the possibility for part of the newly formed Team "Alpi Eagles" to perform aerobatic demonstrations even in places not necessarily equipped with airport infrastructure.
It was the spring that sparked the idea of including an air show as part of the annual "village festival."

Unity is strength
With some friends and in collaboration with the local Pro Loco, despite a thousand difficulties and perplexities, we still managed to organize this mini aerial show. It was a new show for a small town like Salgareda, curious and in some ways even courageous, but it was met with unthought-of approval.
And it was precisely this positive feedback that prompted us to continue and organize ourselves into a real aviation-sport association: thus, in December of the same year, the Club "Amici del Volo" Graziano Carrer was born, in memory of a dear Sandonatese pilot friend who perished with the Frecce Tricolori a few years earlier.

The flight school
The following year we rented farmland, which only through the help and work of all our early members and sympathizers were we able to approve the temporary airfield for the second Air Show day only.
1985 was also the year when, driven by a desire to no longer limit our activities to one day of the year, we founded the Ultralight Flight School and rented another piece of land in Campodipietra.

The venue for many clubs
The "G. Carrer" airfield became the logistical base for all the events to come, as well as the headquarters of several other associations: the "Blue Barons" Ultralight Flying Club, the "Blue Arrows" Aerobatic Flying Club, the "Venetian Parachutists Club" and the "Vintage Aircraft Amateurs Association.
Even today, Aviosuperficie "Luciano Narder" hosts numerous clubs by providing the facilities and spaces for the organization of commemorative events and activities.
